Second Schleswig War
Four years earlier in 1864 the Danes fought the Prussians in the Second Schleswig War. The fight was over the two states Schleswig and Holstein along the border of Denmark and Germany.
BT Trainer
Baxter Lowe and his co-pilot Genevieve Richards are about to take off in a plane. On the back of the picture is written “BT Trainer.” They owned the plane and kept it at Clover City Airport. After a little research, I think this plane is a BT-14 Trainer.
Campbell and Bowen
William was inducted into the US Army only 5 months after they were married in July of 1918. In November of that same year, he was overseas in France. He served in the 304 MTC repair unit, or the Motor Transport Corps.
